James Galvin Returns to London!

Style Director James Galvin, Daniel’s youngest son, has returned to the George Street salon to work alongside our talented styling team. He has recently been working in Los Angeles where he started the Galvin Benjamin salon in West Hollywood with his partner Benjamin Mohapi. Now that the Galvin Benjamin salon has been established, James will be using London as his base in between trips to Los Angeles. 

A bit about James…

After gaining experience and developing a unique style of cutting at Vidal Sassoon and Daniel Galvin, James joined “the family business” and, from that moment on, everything changed. Like his father before him, James is an innovator. In the same way that Daniel invented and reinvented what are now seen as the standards for modern hair colouring, James has set and reset the standards for modern hair cutting.

He is an ambassador and educator for many product companies, and has an A-list clientele ranging from film to music. He has worked for publications like Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire and has been a key contributor to “Britain’s Next Top Model” and LK Today.

James is a powerhouse in the world of hair. James likes to specialise in short, graphical bobs to longer, free flowing, beachy hair. In his eyes, hair should be low maintenance, wearable and designed solely for the individual.
